Logistic GmbH* is founded. L+L takes charge of all services
in the areas of IT, bookkeeping and distribution. Founding
of Birki Schuh GmbH*, Bad Honnef, and the Birki's brand.
1994 Christian Birkenstock founds Betula Schuh GmbH*, Bad
Honnef. Founding of Birko-Orthopedic GmbH*.
1996 L+L* opens a new, ultramodern high-bay warehouse in
Asbach, Rhineland-Palatinate for the distribution of the
